Lunch started slowly. Spaghetti with basil on top, a fork in my hand, the street going soft behind me. I tore the bread by hand and laughed at something I won't explain. Then the plate was empty, the coffee sat there going cold, and I stayed anyway, watching people walk by.

I invited Kaethia_ to a slow Sunday lunch at an independent spot in South Beach, outside, with nowhere to be afterwards. It's a small weekly habit we're starting: the same unhurried table, a different place each time.

I wanted a Sunday lunch told in small gestures: the fork, the glass, the bread, the look up at the street. The 85mm wide open kept her and the table sharp while the passers-by softened, and Portra 400 held the warm skin and terracotta in the open shade.
