Il Vento Che Ci Parla (feat. Tazio_)

“Il Vento Che Ci Parla” is one of the album’s most intimate and emotional songs. Rather than describing Kæthiar through society, celebration or collective ideals, it reduces the world to its smallest meaningful scale: two people, the sea, the wind and the experience of being completely present with one another. Kæthiar must work not only as an idea for a world or a community, but also in the space between one person and another.

“Lascia il telefono, non c'è linea qui” is not an anti-technology statement. It feels more like an affectionate invitation to put the outside world aside for a moment. The absence of signal creates intimacy: when there is less connection to everything elsewhere, there is more room to notice the person who is actually there. The central contrast is therefore not technology versus nature, but signal versus presence.

“Parliamo con gli occhi, senza schermi o filtri” expresses this even more directly. Screens disappear, but so do filters in a broader sense: the layers through which people manage, edit or protect how they are seen. Communication becomes immediate and vulnerable. When the screens disappear, there is nowhere to hide and, in this moment, no need to.

The title image, “the wind that speaks to us,” turns silence into another form of communication. The wind does not deliver information or literal words; it represents everything that can be felt and understood without needing to be explained. Some things do not need to be said in order to be understood.

“Qui non serve nulla, qui non manca niente” returns to the album’s recurring idea of sufficiency, but makes it deeply personal. In “Magic Blue Afternoon,” an ordinary moment was enough. Here, another person’s presence is enough. Nothing is being rejected; the song describes the rare feeling of no longer thinking about what comes next because nothing essential seems absent from the present moment.

“La vita è leggera, non ha più un guscio” adds the idea of vulnerability without fear. The “shell” can be understood as the protective layers, defenses and performances people build around themselves. In this moment, those layers become unnecessary. People can allow themselves to be seen.

Italian dominates the song’s intimate world, while the English chorus opens that feeling outward. The Italian verses can be heard as the more private conversation, with the English sections allowing that experience to become accessible beyond the two people at its center. The collaboration with Tazio_ reinforces the song’s change of scale: the ideals explored collectively throughout the album are now experienced through closeness between two individuals.

The contrasting pronunciations of Kæthiar by Tazio_ and Kaethia_ are deliberate. What can initially sound like Kaethia_ correcting Tazio_ is actually the opposite: both pronunciations are allowed to remain. Kæthiar has no single authoritative pronunciation; its sound can change with language, accent and individual voice. Even though Kaethia_ was the first to speak the word within the narrative, her pronunciation does not become normative. Once Kæthiar is shared, its name no longer belongs to a single voice.

This makes the recording itself an example of one of the project’s central principles: unity does not require uniformity. Tazio_ can bring an Italian voice to Kæthiar while Kaethia_ keeps her own pronunciation, and both remain equally valid.
