Rain on the balcony, and I stayed

Kaethia_ sits smiling in a wicker chair on her apartment balcony in light rain, wearing a grey cardigan and a grey scrunchie on her wrist, with the misty beach and wet glass railing behind her.
Staying out here was the plan. The rain just kept me company.

I liked the way the grey afternoon softened everything around Kaethia_, while the rain remained visible just beyond her. Her small smile gives the quiet a warmth of its own.
